Railcar Repair & Maintenance

VTG North America owns and operates two AAR M-1003 Certified Railcar Repair Shops.

Carterville Railcar Repair located in Carterville, Illinois (SPLC Code 398760) is served by the Crab Orchard and Egyptian Railroad (COER), which interchanges with the BNSF and UP.

Cairo Railcar Repair located in Cairo, Ohio near Lima (SPLC Code 346717) is directly served by CSXT.  

Both facilities are experienced users of the Express Yard Car Repair Billing System providing AAR style BRC’s and allowing for a 500 byte format with invoicing.    

We understand the importance of minimizing down-time. To that end we’ll work diligently to safely provide quality repairs in a timely manner. Our repair shops are primarily set up for program work and projects requiring moderate levels of work per car. This is our niche and we’re good at it!
